More than that I just want to log what a wonderful golden wedding celebration Jane and I had. With 120 guests gathering at the North End of Trowlock Island, a day during which the sun steadily grew stronger and stronger, great drinking, terrific speeches and finally hilarious barn dancing, what could be better? Jane and I were engulfed in a tidal wave of affection from which it took us several days to recover.
Masses of thanks to all the offspring who worked so hard to make it an unforgettable occasion which many of the guests have made particular comments about.
Deep down family is what life is about - especially when it gets as good as this.
