found this wonderful and so well researched site ...and was amazed does anyone want info on the Bazalgette Gore connection my husband is Charles Arran Gores Great great grandson
Catherine Bazalagette married James Arthur Gore who had Charles Arran in 1864 he died in 1922 in Newtown Sydney Australia and is buried in Woronora cemetery NSW

Julie has sent me the Gore family tree, and I've added a lot of it to the tree pages for those that are interested.
The Gores were the Earls of Arran in Ireland and before that had both Baronetcy's and Viscountcy's in Ireland. There is a good summary on Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earls_of_Arran
