Welcome Nicolas Basalgète
Quote from guest on 18th June 2011, 12:00 pmWe have had the following e-mail from one of the French branches of the family:
I am member of a branch of the Bazalgette family, from Nimes: our name is now written differently because of an administrative mistake that occured when my grand father had his paper redone - the "z" became "s" and the 2 "t" were replaced by "èt", but we have a lot of documents and paintings from my grand father where his name was spelled like any other Bazalgette!
My father did some research on the family tree and we are paying a visit to La Bazalgette near Ispagnac everytime it is possible...
I will be happy to discuss and share information with you.Have a nice Friday!
A bientôt,
NB
